Well, I've never seen any evidence that Stalin was a theist after he
left Seminary, but neither have I seen any evidence that Stalin was an
atheist, as opposed to someone who was against the Russian Church. He
may very well have been an atheist.
Tung is just Chairman Mao. The Chinese insisted that we Westerners learn
all new spellings of their names. We now have to call 'Peking'
'Beijing'. Silly. I don't have to call 'Rome' 'Roma' or 'Cologne'
'Koeln' or ...... (rest of off-topic rant deleted....)
BTW, has everybody seen the new Amish Web site (http://www.amish.com/)?
It has ShockWave, Java, ActiveX and Real Audio 3. A spokesperson for the
Amish said that it would enable the English to learn more about them and
show that they were not such stick-in-the-muds as the popular myth
depicts them.
There is even a WebCam video of a live building of a barn! just like in
the film 'Witness'.
