(Christ-Ian 4/1) Dave, as far as god goes, I think good would mean kind, loving,
merciful, protective, etc. Your god in the penteteuch shows none of these traits.
It (he) is an angry, egitistical and insane god who changes his 'mind' at the drop
of a hat.
Why is God "evil"? You must have a definition for these terms.
(Christ-Ian 4/1) I would term evil as the killing of innocent babies. Do I have to
pouint out every atrocity in these five books? It's filled with them - from Adam to
Joshua. It's your friggin book, tell me what is so great about these five books and
maybe we can get on to the next one
I haven't said
anything about "virtues" of the

(Christ-Ian 4/1) I am not speaking of the entire bible at this point. I am speaking
of the Penteteuch. If these are virtues of our lives, what do we need the bible or
your god for?

(Christ-Ian 4/1) Ditto. Why does the christian right always allude to christian
values or biblical values or family values in the context of being a christian?

(Christ-Ian 4/1) It's your book. You are the one who accepts it as the Holy Word
of God. You are the ones who go around doing the preaching and trying to convert
others. You tell me.
