> 1. You have most likely heard about someone speaking to God before.
*Type of sophistry :Anecdotal evidence
Anecdotal evidence is of no use to us. People of other religions
also make claims about their god or gods speaking too them.
All this shows is the capacity of humans for self delision.

> 2. You have heard of and probably read the historical document about
> God(Four Gospels, etc.) in human flesh, just as you have heard of read
> about Julius Caesar.
*Type of sophistry: Appeal to authority.
Ancient text making claims about Jesus Christ are in no way proof
of those claims. There is much evidence to suggest that these
accounts are unreliable.

> 3. Since you have probably read about God walking the Earth(Eden, Christ,
> etc.) then you know that someone has seen, touched, talked with, heard
> about, walked with, been helped by God(in physical form).
*Type of sophistry: Appeal to authority.
A book (the Bible) claiming such things is in no way
proof of that claim. I can read about Bilbo and Frodo in
"Lord of the Rings", but that does not mean that the events
are actual.
>
> 4. You probably have heard of people getting healed by God, but you chose
> to ignore it because it wasn't worth your time.
*Type of sophistry: anecdotal evidence and ad hominem
James Randi has exposed many aleged faith healers as frauds.
Even if we did ignore aleged cases of faith healing, that wouldn't
prove your point.

> 5. You probably have never seen a satellite in real life. Most likely
> you read about it, or seen a picture of one T.V.
*Type of sophistry: arguement by analogy.
While there is plenty of evidence for the existance
and function of sattelites, it is wrong to extend this analogy
to the existance or otherwise of God.

> you it is real or that they have seen it, but do we always believe people?
>

*It is difficult to see how these points relate to the
current arguement.
>
> 8. You have probably breathed the same air molecules that Jesus Christ
> breathed.
*Type of sophistry used: Rhetoric.
While it is *possible* that the above is true, it is in
no way proof of the existance of such a person.
> You probably get what I am talking about now. When you actually look at
> what evidences you have, you will see that there are many. Matter of

*The "proof" you have provided above is VERY weak. If your
evidence is so good, then why is it necessary to resort
to sophistry to convince us???
