Where does it say this? And though the church did castigate Galileo, that does not impugn the Scriptures.

earth. Sorry Mr. Till, but the more I read of your posts, the more you
lose me.

The ancients (and the bible) said the earth was flat and the sun revolved
around the earth creating night and day. The church, in its ignorance,
wanted to burn Galileo for publicly seeing through this stupidity.
