Izz
You totally missed the point, Dave. Aubrey finds areas of science that he
thinks have no explanation outside of God, therefore he thinks they are proof
that God exists.

(DAVE 4/14) Izz: Ok, but Aubrey can address that - I will read his
response to you.

Izz
Aubrey does not see that no gap in science leads to God;
neither is God necessary at all in science. Science is atheistic - without
God.

(DAVE 4/14) Izz: I disagree. Science, as a discipline, is an act of
discovery. Discovery of what? What is made by God. Under what authority?
Under Gods authority. Who uses science? Those who God created.
So I believe science to be intermingled with God actually. They are not
"separate" or "opposing" things.

Izz
A scientist may be religious; but his scientific work cannot use his
religious beliefs as any kind of evidence or proof.

(DAVe 4/14) Izz: Agreed. If anything, the scientific work can confirm or
deny those religious beliefs.

Izz
Religion and science are
separate beliefs, with separate methods.

(DAVE 4/14) Izz: Separate "methods", I can see. Separate "beliefs'? No.
Science only discovers. To believe in science is simply to believe in what
"is". To believe in God is to not only believe in God himself, but in what
he has created as well - that is, what "is". So a belief in God completely
ENCOMPASSES and includes a belief in science.

Thanks for the comments.

Dave.
