Dave's Graham quote (to Helen)

"Often the people who are the most difficult to reach with the Gospel of
Jesus Christ are people who attend church. You see, it is similar to a
vaccination. When we go to foreign countries, we are vaccinated for cholera
or other diseases, and that vaccination gives us a little bit of the
disease, but just enough to keep us from getting real diseases. We can have
a little bit of religion too, just enough to keep us from getting the real
thing."
- Billy Graham

Helen:
Let me get this straight Billy Graham compares Christianity to "An acute
infectious epidemic disease caused by the bacterium Vibrio Comma,
characterized by watery diarrhea, vomiting, cramps, suppression of urine, and
collapse" and David thinks this so well describes Christianity that he quotes
ol' Billy.

(DAVE 4/11) Helen: No, Graham describes how the PROCESS of vaccination an
be like the process by which people turn from Christ. Come on, Helen, you
know no one is comparing Christianity to this disease - that is going a
little to far in shaping and moulding what he is saying. I expect better
from you.

Regards.

Dave.

have me overseas as a missionary"
