WRONG!!!
Do you believe that you have freewill? I do. I happen to think God created us that way. Never-the-less, you OUGHT to believe that God gave you a CHOICE between good and evil. You can CHOOSE to agree or disagree with God. So really, God GAVE YOU THE RIGHT to disagree with Him.
I'd also like to point you to Exodus 32:9-14. Moses actually convinces God to not destory Isreal. This is just one example, but it shows that disagreeing with God is not only a part of being human, it's acceptable by God. In another words, if you disagree with God, you're probably wrong, but you aren't going to be zapped because of it.

WRONG AGAIN!!!
I'm fairly confident that if our nation degenerated to the laws of the OT, then Ferril would start sending the Skeptical Review as an "underground" newsletter. Discussions would still be held on the subject. In fact, I would guess more hidden discussions would take place.
Even though I am a Christian, I would still take part in such discussions. And I would also hope that I was still on the mailing list for the SR. :)

WRONG AGAIN!!!
I'd like to point you to Matthew 5:39. This is just one example of how Christians are suppose to act. You're suppose to forgive EVERYTHING. Worry only about yourself and your relationship with Christ. Certainly share your experiences with others and answer any questions they might have as best you can without getting swamped. But I strongly disagree that we as a society should force people to think a certain way in accordance with a religion.
Granted, we have laws which make our society safe, but that's it. We're safe from one another because of laws and law enforcement. To be safe from false ideas or false religions/philosophies, you need to be educated on what you believe and why. Putting up laws doesn't protect your mind from thinking.
I suggest you read a book called 1984. When you're done, I expect to see a retraction of your previous post printed here.
I further suggest that you consider your audience when you post something like you did to this list. The people here are not your usual group of liberal "on fire" Christians who'll agree with anything as long as you add in enough "amens" and "halleluias." You have to THINK VERY CAREFULLY about what you post here. I've learned this for myself.
Although some of your ideas might be right, they serve no purpose by being posted here other than to annoy people. In fact, several of them can be quite counter-productive. Sense you are a Christian, when you post stupid comments, the atheists on this list lable all Christians as thinking this way. It makes me look bad. So as a personal favor, please don't make me look stupid.
