Matthew 12/4
Mr. Till, it may be that some atheist on this list do not understand the
need for Christians to support one another. As such, let me offer a couple
of verses:

1Thes 5:9-11
9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation
through our Lord Jesus Christ.
10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live
together with him.
11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact
you are doing.
(NIV)

Heb 3:13
13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that
none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
(NIV)

John 17:23
23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the
world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
(NIV)

Christians are called to support one another, not to win debates on e-mail
lists, but because it is an expression of brotherly kindness and the love,
the higher virtues of Christianity.

Actually, I thought that the atheist mutual admiration society as suggested
by you here was already in effect on this system for the purposes that you
have outlined.

In Christ,

Matthew
