>>LUKE 12/1
>>Quite wrong. It is Hobbes and you who cannot do your part. Your
>>efforts to assume, for the sake of argument, the existence of the
>>God of the Bible are frequently frustrated by your philosophical bias.
>>What you end up assuming, much of the time, is the existence of some
>>other sort of god and universe than ours, in order to discover an
>>inconsistency in our position. It takes somebody's "presuppositionalism"
>>to expose that the ground on which you are operating, at such times.

>>Matthew 12/1
>>Luke, it is good to see your writings on this system. I really like the
>>point that you make. The presuppositions being made by atheist and others
>>against Christians, Christianity, and Christian teaching is quite appalling.
>>I think that they do it without thinking, perhaps even without realizing it.
>>Of course, we have presuppositions too, but seem to be more willing to admit
>>them than the atheist. Especially when it is accompanied with name calling
>>and the like, it does make discussion difficult.

>>Anyhow, keep up the good work!

>Thank you kindly, Matthew. What we have here is a novel situation:

>no matter what any of us say in our postings, the others will immediately

LUKE
I grant you, that was a good answer. [grin] This combination of humor and
rebuttal simply cannot be objected to. On the other hand, I noticed this
essage
did not come from the newsgroup, but your private address. It seems that I
am unsubscribed again. [sigh] I probably missed some interesting stuff from
Michael and Darrel, as the results of my "review" command suggests. (I was
surprised that the "review" command no longer brings back a list of the names
of current subscibers, but the names and messages of the contributers for the
given day. How does one get the list of subscribers, now?). Well, thanks for
making sure I got a copy of your comments to Matthew and me.
